the indian version of love

Posted in my views on January 21, 2010 by shibs

Roshini and shiva were very much in love the moment they saw each other. The first time shiva met roshini when Roshini’s elder sister
gave birth to a beautiful angel. Most of the relatives have come together for a ceremony. Both shiva and roshini were students then,
Roshini was in her final year of Engineering. The whole day Shiva couldnt help thinking about her, but the
problem was he was a geek didnt know how to approch to her.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

As the day’s went by, he started to dream about her. He some how got her mobile number from his cousin and gave her ring, the phone went
ringing but there was no one picking on the other end. The moment he disconnected the line, the got a call, and
to his suprise it was her and they started talking. Initally the conversation lasted only for minutes but then it
gradually graduated to hours, until they discovered they are falling in for each other. Both Roshini and Shiva was
staying in different states, so meeting each other was not easy. But then like they say time gradually unfolds everything,
When shiva went to his native for semester holidays he made a point to somehow meet her. ( cont— )

miles to go before I sleep

one of those inspirational poems my Robert miles

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

robert_frostThe woods are lovely,  and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

‘Twilight’

Posted in my views on November 27, 2009 by shibs

Twlight, One of those exceptional movies that will take your breath away. I loved the movie the very start to the end. The love story between bella and Edwards is amazing. That actually made me go through the noval.

I felt the movies is an inspiration from lotsa movies, for instance the vampires powers like mind reading and vision of the future, is a cult from X men.Vampires and romance are nothing new, but Twilight gives them enough of a twist to make it interesting and the film delivers enough on that twist to make it far better than its outlying plot makes it sound. It gets a little silly, at times, particularly in the special-effects department, but Stewart and Pattinson are a quite mesmerising pair, and their twitchy, sidelong glances play out a duet of unspoken yearning that might just get under your skin. It sure is pick for all those gals, I was amazed when the gals where the ones who were screaming at the cinema hall.

I personally felt Kristen Stewart looked gorgeous and was awesome:)

It’s all in your MIND!!!!!!!!!!!

hii…folks this one another story…I got from the net when i was browsing, so i thought I’ll post it out here…

Once upon a time one man was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs. He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and use to sale more. He recruited few more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from College, joined his father.
Then something strange happened. The son asked, “Dad, aren’t you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?” The father replied, “No, but tell me about it.” The son said, “The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times” The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watching TV, he thought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly.
So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his hotdog stand.
As explained by his son suddenly his sales started coming down rapidly, same is the profit. The father said to his son, “Son, you were right. We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time.”

The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice…it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express

Posted in my views on November 22, 2009 by shibs

This is one of the those inspirational stories,  that simply discribes as The pursuit of happiness is an inward journey.

The authur of this story is unknow till date, I have revieved this as a forward, It sure took my breath away…

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man  was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour a day to drain the fluids from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and   families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military  service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the  man in the bed next to the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed would live for those one-hour periods where  his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and  color of the outside world. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake, the man had said. Ducks and swans played on thewater while  children sailed their model boats. Lovers walked arm in arm amid flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite  detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

2012…!!!

Posted in my views on November 18, 2009 by shibs

I guess people just rush to the theatres, simply because of the hype created that the world is gonna end soon. I was motivated to watch the movie because my brother told me its an awesome picture. If they had just put a decent story with these fabulous special effects, this could have really been something special.

Me and Arun went to see the movie at Inox, The special effects are mind blowing and it will keep you at the edge your seat, The movie never takes its foot off the accelerator, leaving the viewer with little time to breathe. You will be sorry if you have to take a bathroom break….lol :) )

In the whole I would rate it a 3 of 5 , mainly because of the special effects. The plot is predictable and weak. I guess with the talented actors in the film they could have done much better. I felt the conservation between Chiwetel Ejiofor and his father ( not sure of the actors name ) is outstanding, hits your emotional side.

Tribute to the Indian who is living his dreams !!!

sachin

The expectations are huge, every time he is on the feild. Like my bro say’s ( die hard fan of sachin ) I can say my kid’s that I have lived in the era of sachin tendulkar. Sachin is a true motivational figure, Two decades in sport is more than a generation and he carries on and on–not wanting to think about the day he would have to stop playing the game.

here are some of those quotes that makes him stand out

” We didnt loose to a team called India…we lost to a man called sachin tendulkar ”  ~ Mark Taylor

” During a Banglore test, Michael Kasprowicz, frustrated went to Dennis Lille and asked ” Do you see any weakness in Tendulkar ? ” Lillee replied, ” no Michael, as long as you walk off with your pride that’s all you can do ” ~ Sharne warne

Beneath the helmet, under that unruly curly hair, inside the cranium, there is something we don’t know, something beyond scientific measure. Something that allows him to soar, to roam a territory of sport that, …forget us, even those who are gifted enough to play alongside him cannot even fathom. When he goes out to bat, people switch on their television sets and switch off their lives” – BBC Sports

Posted in my views with tags , , , , , on November 13, 2009 by shibs

DSCN1695-modNow when I look into my left palm, i cannot see accident scars anymore, I feel must relieved. But then it wasn’t the same a couple of weeks back.

28th nov, was when the accident happened, the date was fresh in my head because that was a day prior to my travel to chennai. In the evening I was bored at home, so I headed to the near by inet cafe to annoy people who come online.

But then the systems were full and I had to head back home. On my way back home, One fellow requested for a lift ( ya…I know  ), I said ” sure, Hope On “. After a moment, when the bike was in motion, a tipper lorry over took us from the right and came real close to my bike , unfortunately the  hook at the edge of the lorry got clinked to the handle of my bike that forced the handle to incline at an angle  and pushed me off the bike.
