Getting inspired from shane warne !!!!
” shane warne is the captain that Australia never had “
when Shane Warne was appointed as the coach and captain of the Jaipur Royals, many eyebrows were raised, people wern’t convinced if a retired player could recreate the magic he did back in his golden era. I guess what inspired me the most about shane warne is the way he enjoy’s the games. He keeps it a cool head and believes in his team mates. I guess he know’s the true contents of success. the first one is staying positive and the second one work very very hard !!!
Ian chappel who initially said 20-20 was “like drinking punch without the rum” was dum struck by warneys captaincy and flew all the way to india to see the matches. The amazing part of warne is that he makes the game exciting for his team-mates, which is part of the secret to successful captaincy. Keep them involved in an absorbing contest and the really competitive players will regularly produce their best.
In addtion to this he belives in the slogan “We can win from any position,” is like the common cold – it’s contagious. If a team under Warne pulls off a stunning victory or two, the players start to believe that it wasn’t a miracle, just an everyday occurrence. I guess the stunning victory against laxman’s deccan chargers, is where Warne’s captaincy trully highlighted, he captained like a chess master and conjured up a remarkable last-gasp victory against the Deccan Chargers. There’s one thing for sure about taking a punt on Warnie. He always gives you a good run for your money.

Shane Warne’s leadership is a testament to the fact that a team is greater than the sum of its parts. Kudos!
